Your patient transport partner for hospitals, care homes and Spitex
One number, one contact person, reliable times — and a recognition you can stand behind in front of your patients.
Less coordination, reliable times
A discharge is delayed, a transfer is suddenly needed, a dialysis slot moves by an hour: transport is rarely the cause of stress — but it is almost always the point at which it becomes visible.
We work in such a way that your nursing staff and administration have as little to do with it as possible. You enter orders online in our dispatch team’s form or by phone in two minutes. Case number and cost centre are carried through. If there are any questions, our dispatch team contacts your designated contact person — not the ward.
- Case number and cost centre directly in the order form
- Consolidated invoice instead of individual receipts
- Fixed procedures for recurring journeys
- Queries go to your contact person, not to the ward
- IVR-recognised and verifiable in the official register

Frequently asked questions from institutions
Can we enter the case number and cost centre directly in the order?
Yes. These fields appear in the online form as soon as you select hospital, care home or Spitex as the ordering party. The details go straight to our dispatch team and appear on the invoice.
How do you invoice institutions?
On request, by consolidated invoice instead of individual receipts, with your cost centres and case numbers as reference. We agree on the exact procedure at the start of our collaboration.
How short-notice can we book transport?
Ideally, you should notify us of plannable transport one day in advance. For short-notice transfers and discharges, call us directly — if a vehicle is available, we will go.
Do you also carry out recurring journeys?
Yes. For regular dialysis, therapy and sheltered-workshop journeys, we set up a fixed procedure with consistent times. This considerably reduces your coordination effort.
What sets you apart from other providers in the region?
Mobimed is the first IVR-recognised patient transport provider in north-western Switzerland. Recognition by the Swiss Interassociation for Rescue Services (IVR) is based on an external audit of vehicles, equipment, training and procedures, and can be verified in the official register.

The first IVR-recognised patient transport service in north-western Switzerland
Recognition by the Swiss Interassociation for Rescue Services (IVR/IAS) is not a self-assessment but the result of an external audit of vehicles, equipment, training and procedures. Mobimed was the first patient transport provider in north-western Switzerland to receive it — and still holds it today.
