Our base is in Binningen, right on the city boundary of Basel. Which towns does Mobimed serve?
Basel-Stadt and Riehen, the whole canton of Basel-Landschaft — from the Leimental via the Birseck to the Oberbaselbiet and Laufental —, Dornach and the Schwarzbubenland, and Rheinfelden and the Fricktal. On request, we also drive throughout Switzerland and abroad.
Does a journey outside Basel cost more?
The price depends on the distance, the type of transport and the level of assistance — not on the canton. Call us on 0800 670 670 (free of charge) and you will receive the information before you book.

The first IVR-recognised patient transport service in north-western Switzerland
Recognition by the Swiss Interassociation for Rescue Services (IVR/IAS) is not a self-assessment but the result of an external audit of vehicles, equipment, training and procedures. Mobimed was the first patient transport provider in north-western Switzerland to receive it — and still holds it today.
