4242 Laufen · Laufental · Canton of Basel-Landschaft — stretcher, wheelchair or seated
Mobimed provides patient transport in Laufen and the Laufental, taking patients to the hospitals of the Basel region, to specialists and to rehab — by stretcher, in a wheelchair or seated, IVR-recognised.
Laufen is the centre of the Laufental, around 20 kilometres south of Basel. For hospital treatment, the journey usually goes down the Birstal to Basel or up to the Bruderholz. We collect you from your front door in Laufen and the surrounding municipalities.
Of course, we also drive to any other address — to your GP, to physiotherapy, to a care home or back home after a hospital stay.
Spital Laufen is one of our clients. We handle transfers from Laufen to the larger hospitals in Basel and on the Bruderholz, and bring patients back to the Laufental after their treatment.

Recognition by the Swiss Interassociation for Rescue Services (IVR/IAS) is not a self-assessment but the result of an external audit of vehicles, equipment, training and procedures. Mobimed was the first patient transport provider in north-western Switzerland to receive it — and still holds it today.
